The best places to hang out with your dog in Dubai
If you are pet lover, then you know it is a tough choice to leave your dog home alone when you have plans. Well, why don’t you take them with you instead? While Dubai is not that much of a dog friendly place, there are some exceptions. Here are the top 5 locations you can take your dog to.
Irish Village
One of the places that rock the title of being the “original pet friendly area” in Dubai, the Irish Village is a great place to go with your four-legged pal. Owners can enjoy a juicy Angus burger, while their pets are treated to a water bowl and obviously, the stray bits of meat they are bound to feed it.
Lime Tree Cafe
Located in the middle of Jumeirah Beach Road, this secluded little cafe is another great place to relax with your dog. However, Lime Tree Cafe closes by 6.30, so you are on a time constraint. However, for the time you are there, you get plenty of shade while your pets get unlimited water bowls and an open garden to play in. If Jumeirah Beach Road is too far off for you, you can alternatively take your pet to its other branches located in Al Quoz and Sheik Zayed Road.
Al-Qudra Lake
If you have a lakeside BBQ with your dog in mind, then head over to the Al Qudra Lake. This vast open area is perfect to let your dog run off leash and even take a dip in the lake, while you cook up a delicious meal for the both of you. It is also great for taking your dog for a nice long walk along the lake.
Burj Park
Located at the center of Downtown Dubai, Burj Park is one of those few parks where you can enjoy a nice walk with your dog. Technically there is no restriction as such on if you can bring your dog or not, but if no one stops you, go for it. Since the Burj Khalifa as your background, Burj Park is also a great place to take the perfect Dubai Instagram photo with your dog.
The Greens
The Greens is a residential area in Dubai where you will find not just residents walking their dogs, but also many animal lovers coming specifically there to take their dogs for a nice walk. If the open area is not enough, you can also head down to Bert’s Cafe, where you and your dog can enjoy a nice meal for a not so expensive deal.
