Ballet Russes Is Heading To Dubai Opera This Year
If you're a lover of ballet, then you're in for a treat this November, as Dubai Opera has announced Russian Seasons of the 21st Century will perform masterpieces of the Ballet Russes from 16th-18th November 2017.
The Ballets Russes was originally established by Sergei Diaghilev and is still high regarded as being the most influential ballet company of the 20th century. Diaghilev has commissioned works from famous composers including Igor Stravinsky, Claude Debussy, and Sergei Prokofiev, artists such as Vasily Kandinsky, Alexandre Benois, Pablo Picasso, and Henri Matisse, and costume designers Léon Bakst and Coco Chanel.
Tickets are sure to sell out quickly for ballet lovers in the city, and are available now via the Dubai Opera website.
